You're NOT That Important!
Ever met someone who is a "self-impressed intellectual"? Patrick Lencioni, a phenomenal author and leader, talks about the idea that the intellectually self-impressed often sit in positions that are elevated that their level of intelligence doesn't allow them to see some of the very simple things when it comes to leadership.
One of those things that are often overlooked is how people want to be treated. People want to know they are valued. They want to know that they matter and what they do matters. They want to know they are cared for.
What are you doing to make sure your people - family, friends, co-workers, employees - are cared for? I'd like to challenge you today if you're willing. Check out the video below that might help you gain some new perspective on caring for the people around you.
