When Communication Decreases
When communication decreases, uncertainty increases. We can all think of scenarios in the place we work, the school, the city, or any situation when leadership goes quiet...especially when there's a moderate or large issue in the organization. The truth is that we see it far too often.
This is a challenge for you to speak up. Because when we speak up, when we put everything on the table - it provides space for solutions, and it helps the entire team and organization move forward.
Todd Tols has taught me that "Silence is selfish." We owe it to ourselves and to the people around us to speak up, to have open lines of communication. We will all be better for it.
