Seek Ye First...

Adversity. Everyone deals with it at one point or another. If you haven't, you will. If you have, you have an idea of what I'm talking about. If you're familiar with our story, you're familiar with some of the adversity that our family has seen over the last couple of years. It's hard. It hurts.

One thing that I have learned through our adversity is that I am not in control. As much as I'd like to be, as much as I want to be - I have learned that I am not the one in charge. I am not in charge, but I am deeply loved by The One who is. I said the hardest prayer that I've ever had to pray the day that Nash was accidentally shot. I had to surrender my will, my son.
