IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU

As hard as it may be to hear - it's not about you. Embracing this process requires and demands great humility and the loss of our ego. Which is challenging for all of us to a certain extent - potentially impossible for some.

You can infuse this principle into whatever setting you find yourself in and any conversation you're a part of. It's always about the bigger picture. It's not about me, it's not about you. It's about what's best for the organization, the business, the church, Great Bend, Barton County, our state, our nation.

We're a part of something so much bigger than ourselves and when we fail to recognize that,

WE'RE MISSING THE POINT.

I'm asking (and challenging) you to build this into the people you're around every day. Influence the groups and meetings you're in with that theory. And when there's a decision to be made ask, "Is this what's best for [fill in the blank], and in doing so, your entire mindset will change.
