Choosing Friends - With the Lindberg Family

We all want our kids to have friends but more importantly, we want our kids to have good friends. The kind of friends that will positively influence them. The kind of friends that will push our kids to be better, make wise decisions, and ultimately make them better people.

Good friends are hard to come by. A quote says, "You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with" and it is so true. We want our kids to be surrounded by good, positive, trustworthy people...and in turn, we want our kids to be that friend to someone else.

So...what's the process for helping your kids develop solid friendships? Unfortunately, there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer, but we've employed some basic guidelines and principles, and maybe they can help you too.
