Building Hunger...In Your Kids
A hunger for success is vital to any person or organization. Setting big, hairy, audacious goals (like we discussed last week) and striving for that next level. Working and bringing home a paycheck. The satisfaction of a job well done.
These are all things that I want for myself...but I also want them for my kids. I want my kids to have the drive, desire, and hunger to work for what they get. Nothing is getting handed to them on a silver platter - that's not the way we do things. I want them to "leave the house, kill something, and drag it back"!
But how do we instill this motivation, this drive, this hunger into our kids? In a world of entitlement and social media highlight reels, how can we teach, coach, and inspire our kids to do great things?
Here are a couple of my thoughts. I'd love to hear yours.
