We All Have A Gift

We all have a gift. Our individual gift is something we are good at, something we are passionate about. We have all been given a special gift, a special talent that it is up to us to put to work like a muscle and grow that gift or that muscle. Some of us sit back and think of the popular people, the professional athletes, singers, actors, and think “I am just not that good”. And following that thought, we settle in and ignore our gift. We then don’t unwrap our gift and share it. It is similar to our gold mine. We each have a gold mine, and it is up to us to mine it.

That gift may be an ability to cook awesome foods, it could be leading school-aged children in sports or scouting program, it could be the ability to love on and cheer up downtrodden people, it could be a musical talent, it could be the gift of giving grace, or maybe it is the simple gift of money. Whatever the gift, we all have a special talent. We all have something we are good at and passionate about. And it is up to us to do something very special with it. It is up to us to create a better place around us and for others with that gift.

If you are reading this and thinking, “I really have no gift.” Or “I just can’t think of anything.”, well then go to some of your trusted friends and family and ask them what your gift is, what you are good at. Don’t be shy, just ask, you will experience a fulfilling, gratifying conversation most likely, that could lead to a new-found spirit of unbelievable growth.

Each of us was created with a special gift in mind. We were also all created to work, do some special work, and to mine our own personal mine. It’s just up to us to execute it! So, what is your gift? And how are you using it, or what do you plan to do with it? Go use and spread your gift so others may benefit from it! If you do, the level of fulfillment and contentment in your life will multiple ten-fold with a multitude of blessings!
