You've got to have faith and hope started by an imagination!

I was watching a video the other day about faith and imagination that really struck a few cords. The video was by Steve Harvey, a comedian and tv personality, with multiple shows currently. He was talking about his life, going from having a job, to being homeless living in his car, to his first stand up comedian show making $50, all the way to where he is today. And he talked about faith and imagination of us as people.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. And it is with faith that we have hope we receive a few things. With some faith and hope, we then have to start believing those good things to receive will occur. But it is paramount that we understand we have to have an imagination first. Imagination is the literal “mother of all things” created. We live in an unfathomable world of firsts, of an ingenuity to always create something bigger and better, and continual inventions enhancing many of our lives on a daily basis. But not a single one of those things started without a curious mind or a visionary imagination with a vision for creation. Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions as Albert Einstein noted. Or imagination is the preview of what the man above has a plan for.

But man’s biggest challenge in the world we live in, wrought with negativity, is our kids or people around us each day have great ideas, but someone often shoots them down with minimal thought, likely poor intuition, lack of vision or shared purpose, and as bad as I like to say it, often times a jealousy nature-hating to see anyone “get ahead”.

Don’t let someone shoot your unimaginable idea or potentially brilliant thought process down. Don’t let someone shoot down what the man above may have intended or planned for you. Your real life may be trapped in your mind with your untapped imagination. Everyone’s mind was intended to imagine, and we weren’t intended to imagine with a small mind. Each day that we are fortunate enough to come alive and get out of bed, we were asked to imagine big, think big, and make a positive impact on those around us each day. Whatever the imagination is, you have got to have faith and hope that with a diligent daily grind, incredible grit, and a passion dripping in sweat that the unimaginable becomes the real, live, earthly imaginable success!
